Three Celtic Ravens Wood Carving.

In Celtic folklore, ravens usually shown in threes, were the companions of the war god, Lug. They were used in the battlefields to collect the spirits of dead warriors to bring them to the underworld. Odin who is referred to as the “Raven God” had two ravens as companions- Huginn which means thought and Muninn which means memory or mind.
