Mucros Weavers
(16 products)
In the heart of Killarney National Park, nestled on the grounds of the historic Muckross House, lies the workshop of Mucros Weavers.
This is a craft born from one of the most beautiful places on earth. For over 200 years, a tradition of weaving has existed on this estate, and today’s artisans, led by Master Weaver John Cahill, carry on that legacy with passion. The dramatic Kerry landscape is their muse; the vibrant colors and rich textures of their scarves, capes, and hats are a direct reflection of their surroundings. The deep purples echo the heather on the mountainsides, while the soft greens mirror the ancient mossy forests.
Crafted on traditional looms from luxurious yarns like alpaca and mohair, a piece from Mucros Weavers is a wearable piece of the Killarney landscape itself.
