Get a flexible tape measure with centimetre or inch markings. A piece of string measured against a ruler works too.
Wrap the tape around your head just above your ears and eyebrows, at the widest point of your head.
Make sure the tape sits low enough at the back — it should rest at the widest part, not ride up.
Note your measurement in centimetres or inches.
Find your size in the chart above.
Tip: If possible, have someone help you — it's hard to read the tape at the back of your own head.
If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend sizing down for a snug fit. Hanna Hats caps are designed to sit securely without being too tight.
Same size across all styles. A Medium in a Hanna Hats flat cap is the same as a Medium in their newsboy cap or walking hat.
Tweed vs. Linen: Most customers wear the same size in both. Some find linen caps feel slightly roomier due to the lighter, more pliable fabric.
Break-in: Tweed caps are steam-pressed before shipping and arrive structured. Wool tweed will soften slightly with wear but will not stretch significantly. Choose based on your measured size.
Handcrafted consistency: Each cap is size-checked before it leaves the Donegal workshop.

You know I love your hats I told you I've been buying them for decades but this is not the blue one I expected to get it must not have been a peaky blinders and you don't make the shape anymore I don't think it was an eight panel and it was a slightly lighter blue but it's totally different look it's not the peaky blinders look at and of course not the don't you go by the way my favorite Abyssinian cat in the 70s Kif his pedigree background was killings Killain s Donegal lad my guess is you just don't make that happen anymore but the woman in one of your photos wearing a silver grave that's that's the shape of what I got from you and it was blue wool and I don't think it was any panels just not a pinky blind but it's all right people like it I'm just not crazy about it

This hat is great and fits well. I'll be looking forward to wearing it this autumn with my Aran sweater and scarf I bought last year online from The Irish Store. I bought this hat for my nephew who has cancer.. He loves Irish newsboy hats. The first one I ordered was size medium and it was to big but my brother kept anyway because he loved the style😂 I had to order another one in a size small for my nephew which fits him perfect! This past winter I purchased my third Hanna cap (Tweed Vintage Flat Cap) from Real Irish. Not only are they comfortable to wear, but the hands on personal service I received was terrific. Hanna hats are phenomenal. I love the rich colors and the attention to detail. For example, the interior material of the cap is silky soft with a contrasting gorgeous plum color. The hand stitched interior band helps the cap fit nicely. The cap has a quality and hidden button to secure the flap. The materials are all top quality. For example, 100% pure Harris tweed Scottish wool. Hanna Hats have fantastic customer service. I also ordered their Patrick cologne, which smells fantastic. This is a really nice hat. I ordered a borderline too large a size. I decided while talking with the owner that I'd probably stay with the size I had but after thinking about what he had said I thought maybe I better send it back. I checked to see availability of the size I needed (M) and it wasn't available in my color in that size. I decided I'd fix it myself. Somehow I managed to do a good job. it fits perfectly now. I couldn't be happier.

For myself, this is a special Hanna Cap, made of Black and Charcoal Herringbone - Scottish Harris Tweed.
The cap is still from Ireland however, it is hand-woven Harris Tweed from the Outer Hebrides of Scotland of 100% wool.
The herringbone and coloring give it a classic elegant look.

This was my 4th purchase and I've been happy with every one of them. I got one for myself in blue. Then got my best friend and his fiancee a pair to celebrate their engagement (they're very Irish) and the photo I am including is the brown one I purchased for my dad for his birthday (on St. Patrick's day). I think I might need to get myself a black one. I'm addicted to the compliments I get whenever I wear my hat. It fits well. It elevates my outfits. I normally wear the full size 8 piece Hanna cap, so this was the first time that I tried at the advice of my friend Stewart the Pinky blinders, cap or JP style cap.
I am mediately, fell in love with it! It’s still an eight piece style cap, but not as robust or fuller.
The quality and material are what you expect from a Hanna hat, A-one!
The only problem I have is that I have created myself a quandary; which style do I wear? They are both unique, and I fell in love with both styles.
Since I have a few of the full-size eight piece caps, I will definitely be ordering more of the pinky blinder styles like I’m wearing in the picture
