Hat fits fine. Just the right "feel". A four season hat, as if you need added warmth, you could add skinny fiber fill underneath cap. The ear flaps are soft and comfortable. Love the tweed look. Thank you!

It's difficult to size a hat online even when I measured my head, but this is a little tight. I think it will stretch, and it fits better when the earflaps are down. However, it is very "shallow" when the flaps are up and doesn't sit low enough on the head. I'm also a little disappointed in the color. It is much darker and drabber than the images online. It is more gray than blue, and the "colorful" overcheck lines are barely noticeable. From more than a foot away, it just looks gray. Needed a baseball cap that would keep my ears warm out in the woods, but didn’t want a bulky hunters hat with flaps. This is perfect! Winters here are sometimes cold, sometimes pleasant. This will work and it looks great. The tweed fabric is beautiful.

The hat looks and feels great but smelled terrible. I don’t recommend including Inis cologne with your clothes or clothes accessories. I threw the cologne away and had to put the hat in a spare bedroom to let it “breathe” for a few days before I could stand putting the hat in a closet shared w/ other coats, hats, scarves, etc.

I’ve owned this hat for several years and recently bought another for a backup. I mainly use it in the winter months. It’s hands down the best winter hat on the market. You can’t beat Irish wool for warmth and being waterproof.
