Description

Irish Weave Shamrock Ornament.

This handcrafted decoupage bauble is inspired by the rich culture of Scotland. Decoupage is the Victorian craft of applying illustrated paper to a surface and covering with many layers of varnish to achieve a completely smooth finish.

The three-leafed shamrock was used by St. Patrick to explain the Holy Trinity when he brought Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century A.D. Ever since, March 17th is celebrated as St. Patrick's day.
