This messenger bag is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful! The perfect size to use in place of a backpack. It looks professional and the quality is Harris Tweed exceptional. It is surprisingly lightweight and holds SO much (laptop, cords, notepads, tablet, mice, shoes, umbrella, phones, even your lunch. You can use this in place of a bag/purse or purchase one of the amazing bags at Real Irish to complement the messenger bag. I use this bag daily, and it has made a difference using a cross-body bag vs. a backpack in eliminating back and shoulder pain. It is the perfect size to travel and carry on a plane. The strap is adjustable so you can wear it as a crossbody or shorten it to carry in your hand. It fits nicely over luggage handles and slides easily under a seat or in the overhead. I have many Harris Tweed bags, but for some reason missed this messenger bag. I say buy all 4 tweed options! Shipping was quick, easy and the bag was well packaged. Thank you, Real Irish!

This bag is beautiful and roomy! I'd always wanted a messenger bag in Macleod tweed and lo and behold, there it was! I grabbed it as quickly as I could. Stuart sent a lovely email to thank me for my purchase. I was so happy to buy from a brick-and-mortar store rather than some faceless company. My bag arrived on time and is absolutely lovely. It is so well made: the zipper, strap, and pockets are solid. The bag is roomy for my laptop and other papers. I like the protective piece sewn onto the bottom of the bag to keep it from getting ruined when it's set down on a bus or train. Real Irish were excellent to work with. I love the tartan blue-green.
