I bought this brand of vest in 3 colors. The website advice regarding pick a size 2 even sizes larger than my normal suit jacket/sport coat size was absolutely on the mark. I am a 42R and I ordered all 4 vests in 46R, and the fit was true. The vests are amazing because I can put them with any suit or sport coat combination, no matter what color or pattern the suit/sport coat may be, with or without a tie, blue jeans, tee shirts, …. It classes up any outfit and even strangers come up and compliment my attire. I even bought 2 pocket watches, one silver and one gold, along with single and double chains, which really brings the outfit to a higher level for those who wear a suit and tie to work every day, like I do.
