St Brendan's Boat.
Based on a carving on the early Christian Kilnaruane pillar stone, standing in a field over Bantry Bay. It shows a curragh with helmsman and four oarsman, and may celebrate St. Brendan's discovery of America in the 6th century.
Cast by hand in Ireland at the Wild Goose Studios, Kinsale, County Cork.
Bronze pieces can be hung indoors or in a protected place outdoors. Indoors, polish gently with a soft cloth; outdoors bronze will develop verdigris.
Ready to hang.
